Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: name, email, phone, province, profile photo.
• Network: your sponsor, direct referrals, and binary tree position.
• Payments: enrollment orders, bank receipts, amount, date (we do not store card numbers).
• Activity: logins, course progress, quiz attempts, messages.

How we use it

• Deliver the learning platform and calculate commissions.
• Send transactional emails and SMS (welcome, payment, rank updates). You can opt out of SMS in Settings.
• Power the province chat rooms and direct support chat.
• Detect fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only with: (a) Supabase (hosting), (b) Resend (email), (c) VanuConnect (SMS/WhatsApp), (d) Stripe (card payments, when enabled), (e) auditors or authorities if required by law.

Your sponsor / upline

Your sponsor and direct upline can see your rank, PV contribution, and active status. They cannot see your email, phone, or private messages.

Data retention

Active accounts are retained indefinitely. If you delete your account, we anonymise your record within 30 days and retain aggregate commission history for tax/legal compliance.

Your rights

You may request export, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@gmacademy.vu.
